Job Title: Events Assistant (PR & Promotional Events)

Pay: Weekly + Commission

We are hiring for an Events Assistant for our new client. Candidates will have a bubbly, outgoing and creative personality to provide exceptional customer service to our client’s customers at the required event. As an Events Assistant, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of various events, ranging from PR and promotional activities to community gatherings and pop-up events. Events Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the overall design, creation and set up of a range of promotional events for the client
  • Ensure utmost customer satisfaction by possessing in-depth knowledge of all products and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional sales service at private promotional events.
  • Meet sales targets, exceed customer expectations, and fulfil operational requirements through event-based promotions.
  • Set personal productivity goals and consistently maintain them.
  • Engage with each customer by asking open-ended questions to identify their specific needs.
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends to effectively cater to customer requirements.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Actively consider candidates from diverse backgrounds, including retail, cashiers, servers, administration/receptionists, and more.
  • Immediate hiring.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and manage multiple aspects of an event simultaneously.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle last-minute changes or unexpected challenges.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to find unique solutions to event challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure smooth event logistics and documentation.
  • Proficiency in common software applications such as spreadsheets, word processors, and presentation tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills to create a positive event experience and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field is advantageous.
