Customer Service Representative

Location: Freehold NJ

Compensation: OTE up to $1,100 plus commission- Weekly Pay

Experience: Customer sale-based / person-centered work experience preferred

While a background in customer service or sales is advantageous, our client places greater emphasis on attitude, passion, and personality. Previous experience in customer service or sales is not a strict requirement for this role, but since it is heavily customer-focused, a confident and comfortable demeanor when engaging with customers face-to-face is essential. The ideal candidates are willing to surpass expectations and are dedicated to providing outstanding service.

Main Duties:

  • Greeting and assisting customers: Welcome customers and make them feel valued
  • Handling customer inquiries: Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Providing product information: Have a comprehensive understanding of the products or services, including features, benefits, and pricing, to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Processing transactions: Ring up sales, process payments, issue receipts
  • Upselling and cross-selling: Suggest products or upgrades to customers to increase sales and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Adhering to company policies: Follow company guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Able to commute to the job location in Freehold NJ
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to think outside the box and get creative
  • A strong work ethic and desire to go above and beyond to meet all targets and objectives
